Miami is getting a new nonstop flight to Milan, Italy, beginning in June 2018.
Italian airline Meridiana will launch four weekly nonstop flights between the two cities on Jun 8, 2018.
The flights will be operated with a refurbished 247-seat A330 from Qatar Airways. Planes will have a new Business Class includes 24 full-flat seats, and advanced in-flight wifi throughout the aircraft.
Flights will initially operate on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, arriving at MIA 5:45PM and departing back to Milan at 7:45PM.
Tickets are now available for sale. Last year, Meridiana announced the route but never actually launched sales.
Meridiana will soon be rebranded as Air Italy, following an investment from Qatar Airways. The intention is to make the airline the national carrier of Italy as part of a major expansion.
