More people are planning a move to Florida over any other state, according to a new study by LendingTree.
The company analyzed purchase mortgage loan requests for primary residents in the U.S. between October 2016 to October 2017. Overall, Florida ranked first.
Adjusted for population, Florida ranked second behind South Carolina. The least attractive states were South Dakota, California, Minnesota, North Dakota and Hawaii.
The study doesn’t include international migration, but Florida is also known to be among the top destinations for those moving from overseas.
