Thor Equities is moving forward with plans to redevelop the Lehman Pipe property in Wynwood into a restaurant and retail complex.
The developer filed for county utilities to this month, paving the way for construction. The filing states that the project will include:
18,632 square feet of retail
38,281 square feet of restaurant
There will also be 14,000 square feet of paseo and walkway with outdoor seating, according to Thor’s website.
Part of the project will be about 35,000 square feet of renovated warehouse, with another 22,000 square feet of ground-up construction.
Thor is likely asking premium rent prices for the space, after paying $41.5 million for the site in 2015.
Oppenheim Architecture is the architect.
