Developer PMG is in contract to buy 400 Biscayne.
An executive with the developer told The Next Miami that the First United Methodist Church currently on the site will be rebuilt as part of the deal. The remaining details of the new project are still being hammered out, he said.
Zoning permits a project with up to 80 stories, and as much as 1.8 million square feet of FLR, according to a flyer from the selling broker.
The property is one block north of PMG’s 300 Biscayne development site. PMG is planning to develop a 1,049-foot luxury condo tower there, and recently topped a 464-unit apartment tower called Vice.
