Miami is once again undergoing a wave of construction that is remaking the skyline.
With the current crop, there will be over 50 towers above the 500-foot mark in downtown Miami alone.
Miami’s skyline has grown rapidly. The vast majority of the city’s 50 tallest towers were completed in just the last decade.
Below is a list of the six tallest under construction as of August 2017. (Excluded are a number of 649-foot towers being built in Sunny Isles.)
6 – Echo Brickell (637 feet above ground, 57 stories) – topped off:
5 – SLS Lux (648 feet above ground, 57 stories) – topped off:
4 – Paramount Miami Worldcenter (699 feet above ground, 65 stories) currently at level 19
3 – One Thousand Museum (706 feet above ground, 62 stories) currently at level 50:
2 – Brickell Flatiron (734 feet above ground, 65 stories) currently on the 12th floor:
1 – Panorama Tower (868 feet above ground, 83 stories) – topped off earlier this year
