One Bayfront Plaza Approved, Developer Would Like To Begin Construction Sooner

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has approved plans to build the 92-story One Bayfront Plaza, and the developer would like to move up the start of construction, according to Miami Today.

Florida East Coast Realty executive vice president Jerome Hollo told the board that permitting would probably take until early 2019 to complete. Construction would then begin and take 48-52 months.

Hollo said the developer would “love to push” an earlier start to the project if possible.

William C. Louie of Kohn Pedersen Fox is overseeing design. Louie also designed Brickell’s iconic Espirito Santo Plaza tower.

When completed, the tower will top off at 1,049 feet, making it the tallest in Florida.
